Joe Padilla is a freelance photographer who has been active in photography since 1962. His major work has been in sports photography, but has also worked in the documentary field as well. He has been published in the Houston daily papers in the mid seventy’s. He was invited to photograph the Oakland Raiders from the sidelines on a Monday night game against the Dallas Cowboys which was his biggest thrill to date. He has earned his degree in Freelance Photography. He spent two semesters on the ARCurrent newspaper at American River College as a photographer. He shot sports mainly, also Art and Entertainment. His camera also caught crime stories as well as Scene. His newspaper experience will serve him well as he branches out to all types of photography. He is working on his book about the bridges of Northern California.
